Il Coreografo Elettronico is taking place at Pan Museum at Neapel. Il Coreografo Elettronico is an international videodance festival held every year in Naples since 1990. It is not only a showroom opened to the public, but also a competition in which the videos participating are examined by a jury of dance experts and critics, members of recognised cultural institutions, music composers and media operators.
The original spirit in which it has been conceived is both the one of giving sector operators the opportunity of confronting an international jury establishing a real exchange amongst Italy and other European and extra-European realities of videodance, and the one of spreading the emerging language of videodance among the general public. Moreover, it has always been present an effort of offering a monitoring subject over the most advanced productions of videodance, and of promoting in-depth discussions about new tendencies in the use of this media.
